Oil Production

Oil business development is one of the key strategic objectives of TOO "Sheber Oyl". As a major contributor to national oil production, the company plays a pivotal role in advancing the energy sector. TOO "Sheber Oyl" aims to increase its annual hydrocarbon output to 50 million tons of oil equivalent, with plans to maintain this level through 2025 and beyond.

To achieve these ambitious goals, the company is focused on maximizing the efficiency of extracting remaining reserves from its existing resource base. This includes deploying advanced optimization techniques, reducing the cost of proven technologies, and widely adopting innovative, scalable solutions.

In the early years of exploration, oil production was seasonal. During the warmer months, crude oil was transported by barge via river routes to the Almaty refinery. In contrast, production was halted in winter due to extreme climate conditions. The challenging landscape and environment made it impractical to implement traditional approaches for road construction, drilling, and field infrastructure.

This unique environment turned the production division into a testbed for new technologies and development strategies suited for harsh geological and climatic conditions.

Hydrocarbon Development

Beyond national borders, TOO "Sheber Oyl" is expanding its presence in global markets. The company is engaged in oil and gas exploration, hydrocarbon production, service delivery, and the acquisition of strategic oil and gas assets across key global regions. Current international operations span CIS countries and Europe.

With continued investment in geological surveys and the adoption of modern production-enhancing techniques, TOO "Sheber Oyl" expects to significantly extend the productive lifespan of its fields. The company also holds substantial equity in affiliated firms that manage oil production assets and operate major oil fields.
